Other Desert Cities, taking its name from a notable sign along the I-10 highway departing Los Angeles, serves as a hub for inventive exploration. The assortment of six distinct algorithms within beckons a realm of peculiar and mesmerizing sonic marvels. Ranging from fundamental stereo dual delays to uncharted territories of granular pitch-shifting pandemonium, the Other Desert Cities is a versatile tool.

<li>Desert Shores Stereo Delay: A conventional dual delay unit featuring basic EQ, saturation, crossfeed, and spread controls.</li>
<li>Mecca Reverse Delay: Similar to a standard dual delay, except the echoes are played in reverse.</li>
<li>Cactus Dual-Delta Delay: Resembling a pair of operational tape delays, equipped with individual speed adjustments and pitch quantization.</li>
<li>Thermal Multi-Tap Delay: A dual multi-tap delay providing spread, crossfeed, and fundamental EQ modifications.</li>
<li>Mirage Multi-Head Delay: A tape delay-like experience with a rotating VCR head concept leading to an experimental and intriguing sonic output.</li>
<li>Sky Valley Granular Delay: A pitch-shifting granular delay with grain size and scatter control alongside EQ manipulation.</li>
</ul>

The modulation capabilities presented by Other Desert Cities are comprehensive. Utilizing two tempo-synced variable waveshape LFOs and an envelope follower driven by either the primary inputs or sidechain input source, an extensive modulation network surrounds every inch of the user interface. This feature expands the horizon of sonic creativity to unprecedented dimensions.

Incorporating a diffusor for feedback path smearing, particularly accentuating reverb-like qualities in association with the Thermal multi-tap algorithm, further enhances the magnificence of Other Desert Cities.

An additional remarkable attribute lies in the I/O control prowess of Other Desert Cities. The ability to regulate and modulate all facets of the signal chain's gain structure marks its hidden strength. Its capability to enable ducking, panning, oscillating, enveloping, and comprehensive control over various elements within the audio signal offers boundless possibilities for sonic manipulation.

Note: The Mute and Input Level controls solely pertain to input levels concerning the delay block; this design facilitates "tails" behavior and the integration of insert effects like a send within the setup.
